Grateful for Mentors

I am grateful for mentors, role models who have walked the steps I walk, and those who can offer not only advice but also friendship and wisdom. I have come to understand that I know very little about most things. Yet, even the smartest and wisest people I admire once were like me; for nearly every mentor was once a mentee. With a mentor, I have access to her body of knowledge, experience, and life lessons. While my path and its obstacles may be unique, my mentors can still show me how to effectively walk.

In my life, I have had the fortune to meet many people whom I can call mentors. Their example is highly admirable. I’ll make them proud.
